So since my short term memory is pretty much toast these days, I will go with what I did this weekend. Last night some of my classmates from good ol' Granite High got together. We do this every year around this time when our friend Scott Sleater comes in from New York. We had about 15 people there and it was so much fun. I brought yearbooks and we laughed at our 80's hairdos (the mullets, the bi-levels, the bleaching, the Flock of Seagulls) and wondered what people were up to. It was a great time. They are the best bunch of people. I don't know what it is with me and getting together with this kids. Maybe it is a wish to go back to a simpler time or maybe I liked the way I was in high school.Either way, I love seeing my high school friends and look forward to seeing them again.
Today at church the kids were practicing for an upcoming family concert at the Tabernacle. It is some concert for all kids of different religions to sing. It was so cute I had to tape it. Obviously, we need a little more practice and to learn the words.
